Hello David,

 

Welcome to Managed Business Email Services with Virgin Media Business. Included in this email is everything you need to get fully set up with the service. Please read this information carefully and follow each of the steps as they provide important information for setting up your new email services.

 

Step 1 – Before you get started...

Your password must be changed in Control Panel. In the table below you will find your username and password to log in to our Control Panel.

You have to log in to Control Panel first before setting up your email account. You will be asked to change your password when you first log in.

Admin Account

Please note there is no email address assigned to your admin account.

 

Your Administrator account, password must be at least 6 characters long and contains one number, one symbol and one upper case letter. In addition as an Admin user, you will be prompted every 30 days to change this password.

Step 2 – Creating your POP3 email account...

All email software requires the same ‘POP settings’ to send and receive your email messages. These are:

 

·         Your POP3/SMTP Username (see table above)

·         Your Password (once you have changed it)

·         POP3 Server: pop3.hostedservice2.net

·         SMTP Server: smtp.hostedservice2.net

 

Please note: My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication – During the Outlook setup you will need to select ‘My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication’.
